Bio:
I have been a consultant in the land development and construction industry for over a decade and have experience in all phases of development, from conceptual preliminary design through final platting and construction. I've designed projects ranging from small 1-acre sites to 500-acre, multi-phase subdivisions and am still currently active as a civil designer. I received my BSCE from Purdue University and am a registered Professional Engineer in Illinois. Memberships include the American Society of Civil Engineers; the National Society of Professional Engineers, and the Geospatial Information & Technology Association. I've been using AutoCAD since 1992; Land Desktop since its initial release in 1998; and Civil 3D since the beta version in 2003. I've authored/co-authored several training manuals, including the C3D PSO and several C3D AOTC courseware titles. I also frequently write articles for industry magazines; and am a regular presenter at training seminars. I also participate in the Autodesk Civil 3D “gunslingers”; helped create the Civil 3D Implementation Certified Expert training material and have trained dozens of the top resellers and have provided training and consulting across the United States and internationally in Canada, Korea and Japan.
