Bio:
I didn't start off as an engineer. Right out of high school I was an asist. mananger for McD's, then I was a truck driver for a lumber yard. Next I became a roofer & had my own crew in 6 months. I became a bartender and entered college at 33 yrs. of age & gradutated NJIT cum laude. I went to work for Conklin Associates in 1998 as an engineer and within a year I had talked my employer into moving to Autodesk software from a Unix based CAD application called HASP. I setup, configured & trained the staff on LDT as I worked my way to Project Engineer. I began training with Civil 3D in 2005. I attended AU 05 and 06 to expand on the training. I was an istrumental role in our company's decision to hire Engineered Efficiency to implement Civil 3D early in 2007. Conklin Associates has since been doing all of thier surveying, engineering and construction layout with Civil 3D. Our company is very small and I am responsible for everything on my projects from the design, plan/sheet creation, filing, letter/report writing, public testimony and client relations.
