- Bio:
- I grew up outside of Philadelphia, then moved to Atlanta to go to Georgia Tech. I graduated with my BSCE in 1998 and wandered a bit before landing in Edmonton, AB where I did some neighborhood design and also worked for a concrete block manufacturer a little while. I moved back to the US East Coast in 2002 to do site engineering. Here I learned more about stormwater, erosion control as well as more road design, site planning, etc. I had my daugher in 2004 and sought something part time to keep me busy. I landed at Cadapult, Ltd. in Newark, DE where I taught Land Desktop a few days a month. In October 2004, I took a 6AM flight on a Saturday to Chicago to learn about Civil 3D. I reluctantly set up my laptop in the hotel conference room and prepared to be bored for a few days. But that weekend changed everything and Civil 3D became my world. What power to be able to interate and redesign without nightmarish labeling changes! Ever since, I have been working hard to learn Civil 3D, teach Civil 3D and apply it to real world designs.
