Alignment and Profile Functionality in Civil 3D 2007This session will focus on the new Civil 3D 2007 Horizontal Alignment and Vertical Profile functionality. We’ll review the new alignment layout tools which allow the creation of a wider variety of both simple and complex alignment geometry as well as the new profile layout tools which create profile tangents and curves using constraint based design techniques. The new PVI Based and Entity Based profile editing options will be discussed as well as the new Draw Profiles from Plan Features functionality which uses new transparent commands to create points in a layout profile by referencing alignments, surfaces, and points in plan view. |
