- Filtering Point Files

If your point files include more points than necessary, you can filter the file at the time of import, limiting the number of points imported, or sampling a fraction of the points. To do this, configure the point file format in advance. On the Toolspace Settings tab, click Point > Point File Formats, and then select the type of file you want to import. Settings exist on the lower right for reducing the size of the imported file.

- Changing Widths on Sample Lines

I wanted to highlight a small "button" that you may have missed. This is for changing the Sample Lines swat width. When you're setting up the Sample Lines for your Alignment/Corridor you might (as I normally do) try the "From corridor stations" function. Then, before closing the toolbar for Sample Lines - select, "Edit swath widths for group..."
